Senior Reporting Accountant

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 | Location: London

An individual with a strong non-life insurance background is required by this expanding City based Lloyd’s and company market underwriter. The role will have responsibility for both UK and a number of European entities. Duties will include providing key support on quarterly financial analysis for the Regulatory Team which will require good knowledge of Insurance Accounting as well as first class Excel skills. Knowledge of Part VII Transfers and/or Functional Currency change would be advantageous, detailed reconciliation work between reserving and finance systems to ensure new finance systems are bedded down and all development work is tracked, further provision of information to Project Managers for development data work, assisting with regulatory and Solvency II reporting and further development of the reporting processes. The company has an excellent underwriting track record and is enjoying high growth. There is also excellent scope for further career development.
