A successful Lloyd’s insurer are looking for a senior credit controller to join their Essex based team on what is initially a 12 month full time maternity contract. You will be supporting the Credit Risk Team in the management of premium debt due.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Collection and accounting of due debt
Allocation of debt and unallocated cash
Providing on the job support and training
Assisting in the process of improving debt collection and reporting via full understanding of business processes, system use and data capture
Monitoring account specific debt cycles
Providing ad hoc reports to lead credit controllers, including aged debts and Top 10 Broker Analysis
The ideal candidate will have strong decision making and negotiation skills and be able to take personal accountability in their role. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as well as the ability to support a team in every aspect. Understanding of the London Market and the ability to work with Brokers and London Market Organisations are also vital.
