Reconciliations Project Accountant – Insurance

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 | Location: London

Insurance group in the city require an accountant with insurance experience to help on a reconciliation project for an initial 3 month fixed term contract. Looking at how they are currently working and the review of current process around reporting. Through to assisting in the creation of a solid control environment and robust and scalable processes. Core duties will include: Reconciliation of year to date data and review of the financials, Create process es around regular reconciliation between the ledgers and the underwriting systems, Assist in quarterly close and review process, Map out data flows, Build relationships across the business and develop accounting policy. You will have a number of years working in the insurance market as an accountant with a proven ability to simplify, document and improve processes. You should have demonstrable experience of large reconciliations projects.
