This Lloyd's insurer is recruiting for a senior level accountant (with insurance experience) to join as an Interim Syndicate Accountant for an initial 12 month contract. This is a broad, hands on reporting role taking responsibility for:
Production of their consolidate financial statements under IFRS
Supporting the syndicate finance team with the syndicate reports and returns including QMA, QMB, QSR, QAD
Reviewing the consolidation results across entities to support the FP&A team
Develop the review and reporting processes
Liaison with their external auditors
Assist the syndicate finance team with Lloyd's reporting including month end close and ad hoc requests
You will be a qualified accountant or equivalent with solid experience of working within the Lloyd's and London insurance markets. Able to prepare statutory accounts under IFRS and a good knowledge of the Lloyd's reporting processes.
