An international insurance group are recruiting for a newly created role of Credit Control Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join their busy London offices - ideal for someone with a number of years’ experience in Credit Control who has a good experience leading teams within the London insurance market.
You will be brought in with the specific responsibility of supervising and mentoring a team whose areas of accountability include the allocation and clearance of aged debt and legacy allocated cash. Additional tasks will involve:
Investigation of received payments from Brokers and Members in order to identify relevant correct premiums to be applied with the payment
Working closely with the Underwriting assistants and Underwriters to resolve issues surrounding unallocated payments in conjunction with working closely with other members of the team
Assisting with training / mentoring staff, in addition to supporting personal and professional development in conjunction with Staff Performance and Appraisals
Assisting senior management on a variety of projects including process and systems projects and the developing of reporting/MI
Other duties will involve monthly meetings with the underwriting teams to resolve overdue premium unallocated debt, attending quarterly meetings with key London brokers, and chasing debt via phone/email when required.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience of leading teams within an insurance business. A strong technical insurance background and excellent communication skills. This is a an excellent opportunity to join this developing insurer.
