A successful Lloyd’s underwriter is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team. This is well suited to a part qualified candidate with some exposure to the insurance market. Knowledge of broker operations desirable but not essential!
Broadly you will be involved with assisting with the monthly financial reporting and contributing to the general management of the business.
Production of accurate and timely MI to stakeholders
Settlement bordereaux management
Reviewing of month end journals, including income calculations and recharges from/to group companies
Production of month end management accounts and analytical review
Liaising with underwriting teams to discuss their income figures and monthly P&L
Taking ownership of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
Liaising with external auditors and internal audit function and become a focal point for addressing action points that arise
Assisting with development of management reports
