Due to growth this insurance company in the city is recruiting for an assistant accountant to join their busy and growing finance function.
There will be a broad range of duties including
Preparation of accounting journals
Assisting with the monthly and quarterly close process
Assist with expense payments and reports
Working closely with the senior accountants on production of balance sheet reconciliations and year end statutory accounts.
This role is suited to an individual with 12-24 months accounting experience ideally within the insurance industry. Ideally with a strong knowledge of payables and reconciliations. For the right candidate study support will be provided. Candidates with insurance experience either broker or underwriter is a strong preference for this client.
