A well established Lloyd’s of London Underwriter are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their successful finance team in their City offices.
This is an excellent entry level role into the City, ideal for candidates with demonstrable interest in insurance/financial services. Full study support (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) and training in place.
Broadly you will be involved with the following:
Accounts payable function – processing and coding invoices, routing invoices out for payment, raising payments through banking platforms,
Raising due claims payments – ensuring payments are logged and back up is attached,
Recording travel and entertaining expenses within the ledger,
Weekly/monthly bank reconciliation,
Processing and matching of cash and technical balances,
Journal entry and assisting with month/quarter end close,
Assistance maintaining treasury relationship with banks,
Ad hoc duties.
